Problems with Product/Service

Complaint: The owner came to do the installation and left holes and cables hanging out from the sides of the house. This could lead to future structural problems We hired Alta Security Integrators to install security cameras at our residential property. We paid him $620 for the installation and we provided the cameras. At first the owner (*******) seemed nice and caring. The installation was done over a 3 day period, and he was given payment promptly on the last day of installation. ******* neglected to tell me that they did not fix the extra holes he created and remove extra cables that he installed that are hanging from the side of the house. He left the work undone and not complete. This could potentially lead to water entering the home and interfering with the structure of the house. The following day we called him to see when he was going to come fix the problem and he said that it would cost an additional $150 dollars for him to come fix the repairs he left undone. He told me that I can hire someone else to finish his work or do it myself. I reminded him nicely that he is a professional and should know how much time and labor is involved in stalling the cameras and then cleaning up the mess afterwards (hiding the cables, filling up the holes, etc.) I provided him with cameras and everything so all I hired him was for the labor, which he did not complete. The cables hanging everywhere and the holes everywhere do not make it seem like a professional was hired and paid $600 to do the job. He also charged me $20 extra for some part that he needed for the job, which he kept and added to his collection. ******* was not very professional or ethical because he was very nice when he wanted the job and then completely changed after he got paid. The owner also did not give an invoice for the work. He may be trying to avoid taxes.
Desired Settlement: We would like him to refund us $300 dollars so we can get someone else to complete the repairs. We do not trust his work and he may potentially do more damage if he was given the opportunity to do the repair. We would also like BBB to investigate his business practice, he takes money without giving invoices. I think he is trying to avoid paying taxes or something. He never provided us with a receipt or invoice.
