Additional Notes

Complaint: Salesperson misrepresented terms and conditions. Provided inaccurate information regarding included weight. I made arrangements for a waste container on 10.22.12 and was charged $285 as agreed upon. At that time I was told over the phone that 4 tons were included with the 20yd container and that anything over 4 tons would incur an additional $45 charge. After the container was removed we were charged an additional $82.35 and when we called we were told that only 2 tons were included, and that we were over by 1.97 tons for which we were charged for each ton over. The terms of the agreement were misrepresented over the phone. Based on what I was told at the time I made the arrangements we should not have been charged anything additional since, according to the follow-up call, we were under 4 tons total. I did not receive any kind of written invoice or contract terms stating the conditions for additional charges, nor is anything listed on the website (had to call for pricing), or on the receipt we received at the time the container was dropped off.

Desired Settlement: Would appreciate a refund of the overage charges as I feel we were misled and unfairly charged extra.

Business Response: Business' Initial Response

If you have any additional questions please feel to contact me a 916-4=XXX-XXXX ****** ****** Owner/Partner Atlas Disposal.

BBB's Final Determination: Business offered a resolution. Consumer did not pursue further with BBB and the matter was assumed to be resolved
