O/a Oct 18th I contacted Phil& **** Plumbers by phone requesting they turn off water to my house as there was a leaking outside pipe and to repair it. I was not at home during any repairs or visits as I had to leave to travel to see my brother in the Hospital. When I returned approximately 4 days later the I called *********** plumber to get and update on repairs. Plumber stated the 3/4 inch pipe buried a foot in the ground was repaired. The plumber came buy and gave me a **** original $540 but he added $135 for a total of $675 for repair and parts. I paid him with a personal check and he left. I believed this was to much for the work done and I called their office and left a message o/a 11/15/21 that I believed they way over charged for work done. A few days later they sent me a additional **** for $115 stating it should have been included in original ****. When the plumber was here he kept mentioning how difficult/hard it was to repair leak. Now this is suppose to be a journeyman plumber with every tool to fix minor problems. So my call requesting a refund was met by them sending a add on **** $115. They never returned my call only replied with the add on ****. I should not have to pay for a plumber who (if he did) work for billing of almost 8 hours when any plumber should not have taken more than 2 hours **** This is a complete ***** that I can not afford and being taken advantage of. They stated when first contacted first hour $115 and $95 each additional hour plus parts which was $45. Request a refund of $410.
