            There have been ongoing issues with my patio cover leaking since installation. The service personnel has come to my house multiple times and each time have not been able to resolve the leaking issue. I have snd continue to pay each month for a patio cover that only functions in the summer. The purpose of this patio cover was to enable me to enjoy my retirement years on the patio to do activities, lunches, brunches and crafts due to limited space in my home. The last visit which was recent, I was informed that they were unable to fix the leak due to solar panels that have been there since 2020. This was something new to me as that has never been mentioned before. It appears that this company is reaching for reasons because I believe the problems that existed from the very installation were never taken care of. I have had to call them anytime it rains. I had them come out and use the water hose to try to trouble shoot the leaks S they are as I stated ongoing. Im not sure if they can remove it and to be honest I absolutely love the cover just dislike the leaking and would like it fixed. If it cannot be repaired then I will take the next step and speak with a lawyer to get my money back. I have extensive photos and dialogue with CW Design staff over the last 3-4 years that I would be happy to display. Most of the picture are in messages to the staff.

            My Patio Cover was not built to design specifications. It was built 6 inches smaller, lots of metal chips and screws were left by the installers in between the concrete expansion joint. At first they agreed to give me $1000 credit for patio width not being built to specs. But then my wife and I decided to have the patio built the right way and not get any credit. So the site superintendent came on site to do another evaluation. He pointed out that none of the 4 posts are lined up either per specs. They said that due to the concrete expansion joints they were not able to line them up. Why didnt they consult me before drilling holes in my concrete. Without any agreement this company gave me $1K credit and charged $13K to my credit. All we requested them to do is correct the repairs and we will pay you the full amount. This company is unethical and does not take any accountability for their errors. Do not use CW Designs for any of your projects.

            We are always working hard to please our customers with their concerns. We offered multiple options in this case and none of them where accepted by the customer. As always , we are here for adjustment to the projects we build. Non insulated patio covers can shrink or grow . The overall size is correct. We offered to add to the patio and none of the options have been acceptable to the customer. We are still here for assistance and have never denied anyone of their concerns by finding a construction industry standard or above standard solution.
