Complaint: ****** ****** breached the contract, of the paint used and time frame. When ****** ****** (owner) came to my home for an estimate he gave me paperwork and wrote in detail of everything that was going to be done. He first gave me a time frame of 7-8 days and the materials that were going to be used. All of which was supposed to be Kelly Moore (elastmeric paint-designed for stucco homes). A week later, I called him back and told him that I was going to choose him for the job, I again asked him the time frame of the job, and he told me something different, which was 4 days, which sounded reasonable. When he arrived to my home to begin, he changed his tune to 1 1/2 days, which sounded completely wrong. Since this was my first time dealing with painters, this seemed very strange to me. I then asked 3 of my neighbors, all of which had their paint jobs with the same Kelly Moore brand, they all said that was too quick and I should be concerned. I then called Kelly Moore Paint to see what the proper way of applying their product. They told me that the elastokote would require at least a full day of drying before applying the second coat which was apart of the contract(2 coats). When I asked ******, why he was applying the second coat in the same day, he told me that the paint was dri-fast and could apply within 30 minutes. Basically ****** is a liar, because of the estimated time frame he gave, along with the quote, and using inferior paint. In the following day of work, I told him to pack up his tools and leave immediately. He breached the contract which I entrusted him. For altering the initial agreement we had and trying to rush the job. In the end it is ironic because ******'s last name is ******, which he proved to be. I am not seeking anything, but a negative mark , because I researched his company and he received an A+ rating from the BBB, which was why I chose his services, and that was completely inaccurate. I feel it is my duty for any other people to know that his behavior can not continue.
Desired Settlement: All I want, is for people to be aware of this company. A discounted price is one thing, but to promise a specific brand and time of completion, and a total rush job is another. The company's name should be changed to Inferior Exterior Painting.. ****** is an old man who only worked for maybe 3 hours.. while his two hard working and polite latino workers did everything else.
