              I would not ever recommend doing business with Sierra Pacific Mortgage. The person I was working with during the purchasing process continually checked in with me to tell me the amount due on the day of closing and making sure I had that amount. On the day of closing, the amount went up by $50.00 first. Not a big deal. Then, the price went up several hundred dollars. Then, the price went up $4,600.00. This was all within one hour after months of telling me the closing amount. There is no way a person such as myself can check their figures. There is no way to know how much the transfer fees are; The recording fees; The title transfer fees. You cannot check to see if the extra money they charge you on the day of closing is legitimate. Fast forward three years.......I have been attempting to drop the *** on my home for several months. I have received letters from many other mortgage companies stating that I need to drop the *** because it is no longer needed on my home. Sierra Pacific Mortgage even sent me a letter saying that due to the appreciation of my home, I need to have more insurance coverage. I continue to be told by Sierra Pacific Mortgage that I cannot drop the ***. Today was the frosting on the cake.......I received a letter from Sierra Pacific Mortgage saying that I need to send them money so that they can personally appraise my home because it might have depreciated in value during the past three years. We have just come out of a Pandemic. We, as a nation, are experiencing the greatest home appreciation ever. Sierra Pacific Mortgage Company is apparently unaware of this?? I have recently had a market analysis done on my home. It appraises for $230,000.00 more than the purchase price. I honestly think they are aware of this. Sierra Pacific Mortgage is not an honest company. They will take advantage of you. They will not return calls or emails. They will send form letters again and again. They are impossible to work with.

              Hello - There are legal requirements to remove the *** from a loan. the standard practice is a new appraisal to be requested. A letter of explanation was sent to the client by the servicer of the loan on March 23, 2022 advising the client of a new appraisal to establish the current property value and loan-to-value . There was a change of loan servicer from DMI to PHH in 2021. Notifications were sent then, we apologize for the inconvenience.

              Stay away!! This company will lead you on and the day before or the the day of closing, they will intentionally try to sabotage the deal. They ask for all kinds of information ( which is understandable considering its for a mortgage) however there always seems to be something come about the information the day before or after leaving home buyers in a scramble. 3 days before closure, I specifically asked loan officer how everything was looking and was told everything looked great. That day, Thursday, I signed the sale of my home. Sunday at 4pm I received a message that there was problem with my loan. Monday I scramble to get everything else they requested. I essentially lost the purchase of new home and was left essentially homeless with an 18 year old senior. So my advice. STAY FAR AWAY!!!

              Run away from this company as fast you can. Do not even entertain the idea of working with them. My brother was a super shady **** Estate Agent and at the time we bought our house I trusted him to do the loan. He set up these jokers. Well 5 years later my brother did almost a year in jail for stealing and I am left to deal with this incompetent and corrupt organization. If there is a mistake they will make it. If there is a business ethical line to cross, they will cross it.

              If you can avoid Sierra Pacific Mortgage, do it. My mortgage payment was recently increased $400.00 dollars. I called and spoke to an employee who told me it was a tax increase. I checked with Riverside County and my taxes had increased, $twenty-four dollars. I called Sierra Pacific Mortgage company again and as I was told what I now knew, as the employee tried to tell me it was a tax increase, she allegedly looked into it for a few minutes and replied, It is a ***************. I called my HOA office and that was incorrect. I called, Sierra Pacific Mortgage again and was told it was a local MUD tax, that was incorrect and called back. I was than told it was a lien from the previous land owner.... I called, they were wrong again. The latest explanation I was given a series of parcel numbers, however when I called the City, I was told those parcel numbers didn't exist. I call regularly and get BS regularly. I asked for an audit of my mortgage and they repeat the information I have on my payment slip. I am currently requesting a Escrow and loan audit to explain where the increase is going. I am currently looking into getting an attorney. I get the same old story that proves to be inaccurate. Yet still my mortgage payment has risen because of some tax increase that no employee can explain or identify. I am asked to scan and send emails to several different email addresses and I have yet to get a response. It has been a month in half and all I have is misdirection, inaccurate information and an increased mortgage. I read the previous complaints and regret using Sierra Pacific Mortgage. Don't make my and others mistake, go elsewhere.
