As of May 7, 2015 this business is licensed by the CSLB under the name Brett Hightower, however it appears that the business operates as Homestead Heating & Air Conditioning, a DBA which is not listed on their Contractor's license. California Business and Profession's Code 7117 forbids a contractor from acting as a contractor under any business name other than the name on his or her Contractor's State License Board (CSLB) license.
We contacted the business on January 28, 2015, February 4, 2015, and March 10, 2015 requesting that they add the DBA Homestead Heating & Air Conditioning to their Contractor's license, however as of May 7, 2015 the DBA has not been added to the license.
