I am a renter and have had Browns Gas deliver propane to me home for almost 3 years on a will call basis. My smallish propane tank is down is down to less than 15% and Browns ONLY delivers to tenant/will call accounts on Fridays. I called today (3/9/23) to get my tank filled tomorrow and the female that answered the phone was very rude bc I was questioning her about a $50 outstanding balance that the landlord was supposed to pay (the bill was only sent out to the landlord a week ago, so wasnt even past due ) for renting the tank. I agreed to pay the balance and send my landlord a bill for it. Because the lady who answered the phone had been so rude, I asked her why Browns ********** staff acts like "a-holes" whenever I call to get service (NOTE: I was not rude, I was not yelling and I did NOT say the actual word and instead said "a-holes"). The lady then said she was taking me off the account so I could not order propane anymore and would have to go thru my landlord.PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT WE HAVE HAD A VERY COLD/RAINY WINTER AND ARE CURRENTLY GOING THRU AN ATMOSPHERIC RIVER WITH RAIN EXPECTED FOR THE NEXT 7+ DAYS. I NEED PROPANE TO COOK, HEAT MY HOME, HEAT THE WATER AND WATER HEATER AND SHOWER AND DOUBT THE PROPANE IN M TANK WILL LAST ANOTHER WEEK.I called my landlord and told her what happened. She called Browns to authorize me to order and pre-pay for propane and Browns refused to let me be an authorised person on the account-so now I have to send a check to my landlord for the propane so the landlord can order a delivery and work with my schedule to get propane delivered. Since propane is only delivered on Fridays for a pre-pay account, I had taken tomorrow off work. Now I don't know when I can take another day off work for the delivery. I have a locked gate due to livestock on the property so I cannot leave the gate open.
