Complaint: We were told that Star Marketing would include us in a coupon book that would appear in 20,000 books in the area. Paid cash.NEVER HAPPENED. We were told that Metropolis Comix, our store would appear in 20, 0000 coupon books in the area. We were sold this bill of lies on 4/17/12. Repeated phone calls to Tom DeMiro 916-705-8025 were always lies about how he was waiting for "proofs" etc. Another company in the area Cornerstone Publishing was supposed to be doing the printing, but the gentleman who owns Cornerstone was also waiting to be paid by Tom DeMiro and that never happened either. I do not hold Cornerstone responsible at all....rather it is the Star Marketing person Tom DeMiro who scammed us. It is now November 30, 2012...and after one final phone call to Tom DeMiro...I told on his Voice Mail that I was filing this complaint.

Desired Settlement: We want our $100 back and an apology for scamming us and other businesses in the area. He needs to be shut down.

Complaint: We paid Tom $2400 for 1000 coupon books and to be on the cover of 10,000 books. He never delivered any books with our name on them in 11 months. Tom DeMiro of Star Marketing came to us to sell coupon books. We agreed to be in his books, for which we would be on the cover of 10,000 books across the county and he would provide us with 1,000 books for us to sell and give to our customers. He has not delivered us books that we ordered for a period of 11 months. He has given us several samples of other books for other customers he has been printing books for and he still doesn't print our books.

Desired Settlement: I want all my money that I paid Tom back for lack of delivery of products to us as promised.

- Currently working with him to get coupon books out. Customer is charging Star Marketing interest and they have a payment plan set up.
