Problems with Product/Service

Complaint: T.O.S. performed a regular service (e.g., oil change) on my Acura TSX on a Friday afternoon, and gave it a clean bill of health. Less than 12 hours later, my car's check engine light came on (the light had not been on before the Friday service). A few hours after that, my car completely died. Because it was the weekend, I called a AAA service to try jump starting the vehicle. But after multiple attempts, the car could not be started. So on my own dime, I then had my car towed to T.O.S. on Monday morning. More than 24 hours later, T.O.S. called to tell me that an additional more than $400 in repairs were necessary to get the car running again. Although theoretically possible that the Friday servicing of the car had absolutely no relation to the car completely dying less than 24 hours later (as claimed by T.O.S.), this seems highly unlikely. Rather, what appears to have happened is a textbook repair shop ripoff, where a regular service appointment leads to "newly discovered" repairs.
Desired Settlement: T.O.S. to refund all or a portion of the money paid for the repairs done after I had the car towed back to T.O.S., a total of $437.42.
I recently filed a complaint with the BBB regarding T O S toyota only service. The business owner subsequently contacted me and has resolved the issue, so I would like to close the complaint.
