Complaint Category: None of the Above - Repair Complaint Issue
Complaint: 04/23/2013 I purchased a '05 Chrysler Pacifica that had just been traded in. It hadn't gone through the eight point inspection because they had just gotten this vehicle. I got the vehicle with the promise that they would take it through the inspection on Monday but I was planning on going to Oklahoma and I mentioned it to the salesman, on that coming up Wednesday. the engine light came on while test driving it. I was told that it might be a sensor so they did something to the vehicle and it went off. While driving to Oklahoma the light came back on. The next day I took it to the Chrysler dealership there where they told me. It have to do something with the CMS system and some other issues. They then called to Ruston to see if they had the part because I was leaving to come home on Friday. They said that they would have it the next day so I cut my trip short to get the car back to be repaired. They didn't have the part in. This is where all the work on the car began. I told them that I had a warranty on the car after about the third time taking this car back and they gave me the run around saying that I didn't have a warranty which I purchased through them because they told me that roadloans.com required it. I then called roadloans and the said that it's good to have one but they didn't require it also, notice they didn't require a down payment that they told me they did. But once they saw that I could put something down they didn't want to give me my money back. I went to Brennan a total of five times in three months and I ask them to take the car back. Every time I have had to get repairs I called Roadloans so they could document it with me. I don't have papers because they wouldn't give me any. Now on 07/19/2013 they gave me a receipt saying I owe them four hundred dollars for something that they should have already fixed when I first brought the car back and said I did not want that vehicle and they told me I couldn't but I know that ninety days at a car lot if you are not pleased is returnable.
