Contract Clauses

Many contracts have an automatic renewal clause that activates at the expiration of the original term. These are termed “Evergreen” clauses. Usually consumers are required to notify the company, in writing, 30 to 60 days in advance of the contract expiration date if they do not want to continue the contract. Consumers should be aware of these types of contracts as they may be difficult to manage.
