July 25, 2023 I had lunch at the bar at The Olde Pink House. A bartender spilled a pitcher of cocktails which went over the bar where I was seated and cascaded down into and all over my purse which was placed on the stool next to me as there wasn’t a under bar hook near my seat, there were hooks under this bar, just missing one where I was seated. I cleaned up and emptied my purse as best as possible while there, a manager a manager named ****** ******* ** ****** handed me her business card, told me she wasn’t authorized to do anything for me while I was there, I am traveling and told her I was departing ******** the next morning. ** ****** assured me I would receive a phone call by 5pm that day. I gave her all my information as well as showing her on my phone the receipt for the purse that was filed in my emails. No phone call by 5 pm. I tried to call the phone number on her card, this went into the phone system of press a # for this, that etc. The name ****** ****** was not a choice, I did not reach anyone. Over the next 24 hrs as I was driving, I continued to try and reach someone. Eventually ** ****** recached me via cell and advised me her boss had tried me later that evening, I never saw the call nor was there a voicemail. ** ***** ******** the general manager called me again, at some point we connected via phone. I explained the situation from my view. My fairly new expensive purse, purchased on 5/27/3022 for $ 1658.50 was ruined. Much back and forth I agreed to *** ** my purse to ** ******** when I arrived in northern ***** where I am for a month. There were no ***** ******* stores on my driving route. ** ******** said he would have purse brought to a ** store in ********** ** as it’s near the corporate offices. I agreed that would be fine. I never received a quote to replace leather on bag nor a call from the store, no email etc. The leather on my purse is stained. It shows, it’s obvious to me. It can’t be cleaned needs to be replaced. $400 doesn’t cut it
