Please know that this review is to warn people of what happened to us when we purchased a mobile home from Ironwood Homes of Perry, **. First we paid more than half up front, and ordered a 2 bedroom, 2 bath option home with no carpet. A few months later, we were so excited to drive and see our home in Perry when we were told it came in, ONLY to find out that the trailer that was ordered was the incorrect one. So we had to sign another contract, and got another serial number for another home and it arrived later.....Once we saw that it was indeed the home we ordered, they eventually got it to our property. Come to find out, the building inspector said, the home was moved without a ******* sticker on it as required by law, so that had to be addressed. They pulled off the tires and axels and left them in the yard for months, we actually finally moved them out of the way ourselves. Every permit that was pulled failed. These are contractors that Ironwood hired and we paid for,our septic failed 3 times, the sewer pipe was actually put on so that it would back up into the house. Our well pump got destroyed when the contractors workers spliced the lines together wrong so they had to replace that and we were without water for days. It was like pulling teeth to get ANY answer to any problem with this company. I ended up having to call contractors myself to see when problems would be addressed and asking for specific return dates. No communication what so ever. Once they have your money, they really could care less about you. They screen your calls, don't answer your emails, to the point you feel like giving up. After the demo of our old house. We had to hire another contractor to come in and dig a new trench, repair spliced electric lines and water pipes that were left on TOP of the ground, and cut up the metal that they left us with. Save yourself a huge headache and buy a home from a dealer other than this place.

What do I think? The Manager "*************************" is as attentive as rust. "*******************************," (allegedly a sales rep.) smells like alcohol almost every time [we] had to be around her. Both were supposed to be the experienced people, but my sales rep., while still "new" to the business is often left to her own devices without proper guidance/training by either of those mentioned above. Customers should not have to absorb the excuses of any business. What is behind the curtain should not be cause of monetary loss by any customer. A serious "breach of contract" is now being considered. Who am I to talk about service? A US Army veteran of 5+ years, honorably discharged. So I know what good service is supposed to look like. And I am about to send my partner, another veteran, albeit an US Army Airborne and Air Assault Infantryman on a long range patrol just to find honorable contractors that are more motivated than those I have dealt with to date. Which may have been paid prematurely, for lackluster results at best, or no work being done at all. Steer clear of these people if you can. Star rating? What star rating?
