Advanced Loan Systems, LLC dba AmericaOneUnsecured.com and OneLoanPlace.com matches personal loan applicants to a lender in its network. It receives applications through a number of ways, including consumer telephone inquiries, its website, and its partner, 247lendinggroup.com. Based on an estimated credit worthiness, the company refers applicants to participating lenders. America One Unsecured does not charge its customers advance fees or any other fees associated with their loan application. Offers of such loans appear to be an attempt to fraudulently obtain money or access consumers’ confidential financial information and is not associated with, authorized or sponsored by America One Unsecured. If you believe you have been a victim, you may wish to contact the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center at www.ic3.gov
The company has requested that if anyone is asked to pay an upfront fee from someone claiming to be with this company to please call 866-577-5320 before giving any money.
Prepaid Loan Inquiries
In 2011 BBB started receiving inquiries and complaints from consumers receiving a call from someone pretending to be an employee of America One Unsecured offering a loan via the use or purchase of prepaid money cards (such as GreenDot MoneyPak), placing the funds on it and giving that person the card number in order to receive the loan. The result is that the scammer has the funds on the card and the consumer will not receive the loan. BBB has brought this to the attention of America One Unsecured they strongly deny any wrongdoing, stating “AmericaOneUnsecured.com has been around for over ten years and has a very good reputation so it makes us a target. The criminals can claim to be us and take advantage of the customers desperate situation.” As of May 2014 BBB is still receiving contact from consumers alleging requests for upfront fees. BBB advises that America One Unsecured is not offering this type of service, this is a scam. Please be aware that giving out a prepaid card's number gives an unlimited access to the card's funds by the person you gave the number to. BBB advises consumers to be very cautious when applying for loans online. Be certain that you are on a legitimate site. Also, be aware that no legitimate bank will ever ask you to pay any kind of fees via a prepaid card. If in doubt, do not do it. If it sounds too good, do not do it.
