    I'm writing to express my dissatisfaction with The Grove. I was able to pay my rent with FASFA funds. The contract states that FASFA certified leases do not incur late fees. I was planning to move on August 12th. I couldn't move in because of family issues and financial issues (the lease manager knew about this), so I contacted The Grove every week. I informed them that I was still looking for a sublet. The leasing manager informed me I didn't have to worry about the 305-deferral charge. For the $305, they only accepted checks and money orders. I'm in Kentucky, which is a 10-hour drive away. I informed the leasing manager about this. So, I finally found someone to sublet my apartment; the young lady stated that she wants to move in at the end of October, and she would be taking over my lease at that time. I told The Grove of this once again and kept them up to date. I kept telling them that I wouldn't be accountable for the 305 charges, and they said no, you just have to worry about the sublet fee and the rent for August, September, and part of October. Okay, I said, I won't receive any late fees? They said no.I phoned The Grove every week since it was always a new tale with the employees, and I also noticed the price would increase up in the emails I was receiving. So, another young lady contacted me (I have screenshots and documentation to prove it), if she could take over my lease. I contacted the grove and informed them that this young girl wanted to take over my lease. They said it was okay and that she may do so. I repeatedly questioned them, "I won't be accountable for this lease after September," and they answered, "Correct, you will not". I informed the girl I'd pay the rent when I got my school return, as I had planned to do from the beginning. I called the grove again, and the woman try to say that I was legally still responsible for the lease but gave someone else my unit? They told me They sold out on the two-bed units, so where is my unit?
