              service dated 11/8/2022 brought Subaru forester for oil and filter change, as it is a dealership service department it is expected they would use Subaru parts and oil. After returning home, a week later to my surprise oil filter is not Subaru oil filter, Looked back at the description of service paper I was given, on the paper it noted a Subaru oil filter was installed. I tried calling Subaru Gainesville multiple times, left multiple voicemail to supervisor without success. Got hold of a front desk clerk and asked if they use third party parts and they would not answer me, only transfer me to supervisor. I was able to contact National Subaru advocate line and they noted will look into error, gave me coupon to get it inspected by another Subaru dealership and free exchange. please see the supporting documents for the parts on 11/8/2022, photos taken when I found it was not Subaru oil filter.
