Internal Controls: Risks, Rewards and Pitfalls

Image Spacer

Recent news stories about charity management scandals have dramatically shown that it is critical to review and strengthen internal controls at nonprofits.

Image Spacer

This session will focus on how executive and finance staff as well as governing boards can effectively identify and address the various risks nonprofit organizations face today. Using case studies of both good and poor governance, we will offer practical, cost-effective solutions to some of the common problems of insufficient controls. We will also highlight other areas of risk that are more subtle.

Come prepared with your own questions for our experts as well!
