Complaint: I received an email today at 810am advertising $50 off of a $100 purchase. There were no exceptions or restrictions for using this other than to follow the link in the email. I purchased 2 t shirts and a pair of sandals. The total was $113. The instructor a were that upon checkout the $50 discount would be applied. This did not happen. I called them direct and was transferred to **** ****** and forwarded him a copy of the email. He had not seen the promotion before. He said it was good only for items carries in their warehouse. He told Me that the discount applied only to merchandise located in their warehouse. This wasNot specified in the email. I asked toSpeak to a supervisor and he toldMe that was him. I asked to speak to his boss and was put on holdFor 20 minutes after which I hung up. This is clearly false advertising. I can forward a copy of the email if you like. Please help me in any way that you can.
Desired Settlement: I would like to purchase the threw items in my shopping kart with the advertised $50 off of a $100 purchase. I am about to enter the hospital for an extensive surgery and will be hospitalized for up to 4 weeks. I would like to get it before I go. Additionally I feel that at a minimum I should receive free priority shipping for the time and energy that I have put into this situation in order to redo this matter.
BBB's Final Determination: Business offered a resolution. Consumer did not pursue further with BBB and the matter was assumed to be resolved
