Three transactions were made to purchase tickets for New Jersey Nets basketball tickets using my TickPick account. The account was hacked and the credit card on file was used to make these transactions, without my knowledge. The total of the three transactions was $1515. The dates of these basketball games were for several dates in the future. To my knowledge, these tickets went unused as they seemed to be still in the account when the password was changed and account was closed. Within an hour of the fraudulent purchase, I contacted TickPick who advised they would note these were fraudulent transactions. They also advised I should change my password to TickPick. Also, that I should contact my bank. All of this was done. I then contacted M&T Bank to advise them what occurred. After reporting this they advised I needed a new card reissued to ensure no further transactions could be made. This was also done. Initially the $1515 was credited back to my account on 2/28/24. On 03/19/24 a letter was sent from M&T bank advising the credit would be reversed due to information received from TickPick that the transactions were processed correctly and no error had occurred. I was never contacted by anyone in TickPick or M&T Bank relative to any investigation.
