      In October 2023 I called Zoni language Brooklyn center to sign my mother up for 2 weeks of english speaking class. I called them and talked to an employee named ***. Throughout this ordeal, my communication has only been through this woman. I have the whole chat on WhatsApp specifically inquiring about only 2 weeks of class. She gives me quotation for two weeks.I asked if I can pay in cash but because of the weather conditions that day, I just pay online through the portal.After my mom attends 2 weeks, I see a charge on credit card of full 6 weeks. I.e 288 dollars, so I overpaid by 145 dollars. I immediately contacted *** and she understood the issue and help me fill out and sign a refund form. She said a refund will be issued within 45 days.On 26 October, I check my account and only recieved a refund of 72 dollars. On bringing this issue up to ***, she offered to check with the school.I recieve no answer so I check in again with *** on 30th October. She says she still hasn't recieved and answer.Almost a month passes and I recieve no communication from the school, I decide to wait a bit and reach out on 24th and 25th November.On 27th November I got a message that since the student went for a 6 week course and only attended 2weeks, full amount will not be refunded. I confronted *** that I have been in communication throughout with her and with every placement test caller from school-I have constantly mentioned that my mother will only be attending 2 week classes. I even called and confront *** that I have been in clear communication with the school from day 1 that I only want 2 weeks and the school agreed so why is the statement being changed now.She stated that she agrees with what I am saying but she is not able to explain this to the billing dept.So I ask for the manager or director of the school, she said we don't have any info on that. I left a review and they accused me of doing so because they refused to work with as a native speaker!!
