Consumers are reporting that after they win bids on auctions on items, such as gift cards, that the items are not being received by the estimated delivery date. In addition, these customers have encountered excessive difficulty in obtaining a response from the company’s customer service department about the status of their purchases. And finally, consumers say that after winning bids on certain items, they are being told by the company that the items are out of stock, and the consumers are being offered replacement items which are worth less than the items that were won.

On April 2, 2013, the BBB raised concerns about a pattern of complaint and notified the business via U.S. mail. On April 16, 2013, the business responded to the BBB's concerns.

DealDash said the company underwent "unanticipated growth" in the summer of 2012, and during the expansion of the supplier network in the fall 2012, the company experienced procurement issues and delivery days, which affected the customers. DealDash says its new partnership with large retailers such as Best Buy have led to a "dramatic" decrease in procurement issues, and increase in product availability.
