    On 9/3/2022 I ********** reservations for my brother *************************, as the house he was renting, well had dried up. Therefore, he had no water at all.When he arrived at the hotel to check in, he felt very ill and passed out outside the parking lot. The person that took him to the hotel (our brother), called 911. The ambulance arrived and took ****** to the hospital where he was admitted. My other brother then went into the hotel to let the front desk person know. The person said oh that was your brother? He said yes ************************* please cancel his reservations. The front desk person so no worries just give us proof he was admitted. I tried contacting the hotel a number of times and got no answer or voicemail. I called ************. At that point I called the toll free number ************ which I got from my Discover Card history where it shows merchant. I called and spoke to an ***** who tried contacting the hotel to confirm. She said no answer just rings will send a email and directed me to call back in ***** hrs. I called back spoke to a *** they are waiting for hotel to respond, advised me to call back said they will email hotel again. On 9/6 I called again in the morning told me waiting for response. Meanwhile I disputed with my credit card because I didnt know what to do. I also sent proof of the hospital admission and discharge to the hotel as directed. Finally I was told they waived the penalty and will give me a full refund of $1331.26 which is what was charged on my card. A few days later got an email saying it was a chargeback. Again I called the merchant number was told I have to wait 90 days for refund. I asked for this in writing nothing I emailed them and still nothing to confirm refund. Received email saying looking into this, tried calling today and can not get a ******** ticket# they previously gave me ********. Case# ******** the reservation # ***********. Please whatever you can do would be appreciate.Thank you *********************
