People considering Kimlin as their home/commercial energy provider should know this.Worked with Kimlin on a 3 yr. contract to provide my home kerosene needs. After several iterations, found that contract gave me a week to get the initial delivery offer of $4.99/gallon. I asked to schedule delivery immediately, and they said that they had no kerosene in July. When I suggested altering the date to when Kimlin would have kerosene to provide, I was told that the $4.99 price was good on the initial delivery, and I would not be penalized for Kimlin not having product within the date parameters, .It seems as though I might have questioned Kimlin's integrity. So, I trusted *********************** and agreed to leave the contract as is. Big mistake.I called back in September to get my "initial delivery". They had kerosene, and the nerve to tell me that the price was now $7.99/gallon. I explained what had happened, and spoke with the person, who I worked with on the contract, and she apologized profusely for the "misinformation". She apparently had no business altering contracts, or making promises on the Kimlin's behalf. I was basically told, "tough luck". I signed a contract for a date when they did not provide ********, and did not insist on a date modification. This is a well-orchestrated fraud that they perpetuate on trusting customers. They offered a price of $6.99/gallon, as "the best they could do". As if paying $2.00 more per gallon, should satisfy me. Every individual I spoke with towed they line, basically saying I should have changed the date. They used those dates, knowing they could not fulfill the contract as they had written. My wife says, I should be more trusting. I was, and was taken advantage of. I wrote the owner, Max *********************** thinking he would be outraged by his companies behavior. I have heard nothing two month later. Have not dealt with with a more duplicitous, despicable company, ever. This was an intentional deception, that Kimlin has no problem authoring.
