The Bureau has requested background information from this firm and as of this date has not received a reply. Information received from inquirers, indicates the firm is offering some sort of travel package, the cost of which is charged to the consumers MasterCard or Visa account. The Bureau has asked the firm to provide the names, addresses and telephone numbers of ten consumers who have received the package trip to the Bahamas for $295. To date we have not received a response. Based on our file, this firm has an unsatisfactory record. The address for Costa Cruise Lines is also that of Costa Consultants Inc., an advance fee loan company. On February 25, 1992, John Beatrice and Eric Inlenfeldt, owners of Costa Consusltants were arrested by federal agents for allegeding defrauding the public by promising them loans, obtaining a processing fee from applicants, but never giving loans to them, according to federal officials.
