Consumers report to the BBB that US Benefits debits their credit or debit card in the amount of $288 without authorization, for a DVD that they did not order. The DVDs contain information on government grants or insurance benefits. Attempts to return the unwanted DVD and obtain a refund from the company go unheeded. As of October, 2006, the company responded to complaints handled by the BBB with, "Any refunds or cancels done through the customers bank, will be handled through their proper channels and dealt with appropriately, by those entities according to their procedures."
