Complaint: The company refused to price match a sewing machine even though everything in their " lowest price guarantee" is the same. I tried to price match with Wal-Mart online for $370.37 and they refused to price match. It's available online it is in stock, they offer free shipping etc and *** *** and **** *** will not uphold their end. If you do find a lower price on the identical brand and model of an item from a competitor who has the item in stock and is able to fulfill your order, and we are able to verify the price, we will gladly beat it. All price matches must be submitted prior to order. The price you wish us to beat must be verifiable on the Internet. The competitors advertisement must be current. *************** will only beat prices with other authorized vendors. The online store must have the identical product in-stock and priced accurately at the time the price match is submitted. Our Low Price Guarantee does not apply to out-of-stock or special order items.
Desired Settlement: I would like for my item to be price matched like they guaranteed on their website. $370.37 for the Brother *********
This complaint is just a misunderstanding. I am at fault that in my emails I did not explain to the customer in more detail that I could price match on the machine only. I have contacted the customer directly to explain that it was my miscommunication that caused this problem. In the future I will explain to the customers that we can price match on the machine only and that we can not price match on things that other companies do not offer.
BBB's Final Determination: Business offered a resolution. Consumer did not pursue further with BBB and the matter was assumed to be resolved
