Complaint: I had a flood in my basement. As I have in the past, I called Schiavoni for service. The man on the phone said someone would be out to pump out my basement with a sump pump. Though I asked, he would give me no time frame of when they might arrive. About 20 minutes after my initial call, I called to cancel the service call. A friend had answered a text saying they would be by shortly with 2 pumps. I spoke with the same person I had originally spoken with. At no time did he say there would be a charge for the call, even though no one showed up. 4 weeks later I received a bill for the "aborted" service call for more than $100. Had the person I spoke with given me a time of arrival, I would have understood. But all he said was, "they will get there when they can."

Desired Settlement: I would like Schiavoni to refrain from sending me further bills. I cancelled an appointment with someone who could not even give me a time frame for the appointment. I see no reason to be billed. There was no service performed.
