I ordered 10lbs of Oh! Nuts Sunsation Fruit Jellies. Order # ******* in the amount of $49.57. This order arrived right on time. Unfortunately the entire 10lbs order was crammed and shipped in a very small cardboard box. The majority of the pieces were melted and seeping out of the wrappers which in turn made the remaining wrappers sticky and unsuitable to serve. These gummys were specifically ordered and meant to be put into small organza bags to toss in the synagogue in the direction of my son as traditionally done as he completed the reading of his portion of the Torah. For a week and a half before our sons bar mitzvah I called customer service to seek a resolution since I still needed the gummys only to be told what the reps are trained to say -email an explanation of your complaint and a supervisor will promptly respond. After about a week of making daily calls to the reps with no authority to offer meaningful assistance, and multiple emailings containing the explanation along with pictures of the slimy gummys in the leaking wrappers. Still no callback or the curtesy of transferring the call to someone with the authority to help me. Up until then I had fulfilled their requests. Now comes the infuriating part, without any communication at all, email or a live human, a credit of $12.39 appeared on my credit card without for a $49.57 order of unusable pieces. I realize that in the grand scheme of things $49.57 is not a great sum of money, but it does show the level of customer care and disrespect. It is now week 3 and I have yet to speak with a supervisor or get an email response beyond Thanks for reaching out! Im sorry to see how these have been received! Ill get you a 25% refund on the case. Youll see that come through via email. Oh Nuts felt it was reasonable to refund 25% of a 100% unusable order. I cant imagine the response to this complaint from Oh Nuts other than a genuine apology as well a 100% refund.
