              I ordered an item online. I changed my mind about the item and decided to return it once it arrived. At this point, ********** has elected not to honor their posted return policy. Regarding shipping costs, it states:Shipping Costs on Returns Except for damaged and defective items, you must pay any return shipping and, if we sent you your purchase with Free Shipping (free to you but not to us), we will deduct the outbound shipping cost from your refund as follows:Free Ground Shipping we will deduct $10 from your refund Free 2nd Day Air Shipping we will deduct $50 from your refund Free Truck Freight (on Oversized Items) we will deduct $75 from your refundI was told that I would need to pay for the full shipping cost of the item, costing me nearly $200. The item is not damaged. I havent even opened it. The website also states, I may return an item for any reason.

              Was sold an amp which was not brand new. The amp Roland ** 60 amp sent had been opened, Although it is past the 45 day return period. The representative at ********** knew they were selling me a used amp. It was not in the original box. It also has nicks on the cabinet. This is not the way to do business. I will never buy anything from **********. No one ever told me the amp was used. Paid full price for the item. There is no telling how many hours the amp was used on the sales floor. ********** is now unwilling to make amends for their error. The 45 day return should not even be enforced since the company knowingly sold amp as a brand new item, unopened item. This is not the way to do business! Spoke to someone in corporate office who told me I would need to call customer service number. The customer service person was also unwilling to help. This is how ********** customer service resolution works!

              The customer did not contact us about the condition of the amp until 8 months after purchase. Had we been contacted promptly we would have replaced the product, but how are we to evaluate whether nicks and scratches were there on purchase or the result of 8 month of the customer's use. It is our practice, if only a floor model is available, to notify the customer of the condition before shipment and give the customer the option of a refund or price reduction before shipment.
