SALES POLICY FOR GOLDEN FLAMINGO’S ® JEWELRY STORES AND AFFILIATES


1.         Exchanges, Store Credit and Refunds.  No exchanges, store credit or refunds will be offered on special orders or item marked ‘Final Sale’.  No exchanges, store credit or refunds with be offered after 10 days from the date of purchase.
Within the allotted 10 days from the date of purchase, you must select one of the following three options: you may exchange the item(s) immediately OR return the item(s) for a store credit in the amount of the total purchase value OR return an item for a refund minus a 12% restocking fee.
 
1.1                    Exchanges or Store Credit. Where the price of selected new item(s) + taxes exceeds the nominal value of the item being exchanged, you may pay the difference by cash or credit card.  Where the price, including taxes, of the selected new items, falls below the nominal value of the item being exchanged, the difference is non-refundable and will remain a store credit in your name on the Golden Flamingo® store’s records.

Please note:  Golden Flamingo® Store Credit is NOT REDEEMABLE FOR CASH VALUE.
 
1.2       A store credit statement is valid only if presented together with the customer’s valid picture ID or the customer’s valid Golden Flamingo® store membership matching the name on the credit statement. All store credit statements are non-transferable.
 
1.3       When returning an item for a refund, a restocking fee will be charged equal to 12% of the original purchase price.  Online orders will not be subject to a restocking fee.
 
Please note: Goods being exchanged or returned must be in their original condition and packaging, with all tags intact and accompanied by this invoice.  Exchanges, applications for store credit or returns for a refund may only be done at the Golden Flamingo® location where the original purchase was made.
 
2.         Layaway.  Layaway item(s) are held at Golden Flamingo® stores and remain the property of Golden Flamingo® stores until full payment has been received.  For layaway, an initial deposit of 20% of the purchase price is required. The balance must be paid during the 90 days that follow the date of the initial deposit.  If the customer fails to pay the balance after 90 days, the Golden Flamingo® stores reserves the right to refund the layaway customer’s deposit and sell the item(s) to another interested client.  No interest or penalties will be enforced upon the lay away customer.

3.         Limited Warranty.  Golden Flamingo® stores provide a limited warranty that covers the first 45 days from the purchase date. During this period, upon confirmation (by our experts) of a manufacturer’s defect, we will either repair the defective item at our own expense or exchange the item for a new one. In cases where neither a repair nor an exchange is possible, we will offer a full refund. 
 
The limited warranty does not cover:
 
3.1        Any items marked ‘Final sale’
 
3.2       Any damage, deterioration or malfunction caused by the customer.  This includes but is not limited to: misuse, neglect, alteration, abuse, hallmarks defaced or modified, accident, fire, acid, or failure to follow the jewelry care instructions enclosed with this invoice, as well as those resulting from attempted repair by anyone who has not been authorized in writing by Golden Flamingo® stores or from any other cause unrelated to an item’s manufacturing defect.
 
Please note: The warranty is valid for the 1st customer purchase only.  Customers MUST have the original proof of purchase (purchase invoice).  Warranty repairs obligations can be fulfilled only at the Golden Flamingo® store where the original purchase was made.
 
4.         All Golden Flamingo® stores retain the right to resolve, at their sole discretion, any issue that may arise in relation to this sale and has not been addressed above.
