ON 5/4/23 WHENT TO ****'S TIRE **** TO REPLACE TIRE AND DO AN INSPECTION. ON 5/14 NOTICED THAT ORIGINAL LICENSE PLATE ***** WAS REPLACED BY HIS BUSINESS ***** WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION OR NOTIFICATION. WHENT TO THE **** SAME DAY WHEN NOTICED. THE ***** OF THE **** CAME OUT YELLING AND BEING VERY HOSTILE STATED ''YES, I DID IT ''AND STARTED BREAKING ***** OF THE *** AND THROWING IT ON THE GROUND. HE BROKE HALF OF THE ***** AND STARTED TO CURSE. I FELT UNSAFE AND VIOLATED. CALLED THE POLICE. WHEN HE REALISED THAT I CALLED POLICE HE CLOSED HIS BUSSINES AND LEFT WITH HIS FATHER. POLICE ARRIVED, REPORT WAS MADE, ALL EVIDENCE AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.

Dear ****************. We thank you for coming to the shop for your tire need. As I recall after we replaced, mounted, and balanced the tire you wanted we noticed that your inspection sticker was past due, thereby saving you potential ticket(s) when you park your car. Expired inspection sticker tickets are $65 per ticket these days. At that time we did place a license plate frame on your car. The reason we started doing this is not just advertisement for our shop, but we are protecting the license plate from scratches and dents when people park their car and bump into your bumper. the frame is a removable item and since your voiced your displeasure about the frame we removed it per your instructions. But the part here that you left out is that you showed up on May 1 4th, like you stated, but it was Mothers Day, and t was 6pm when I was already closed and locking up the business to go take my wife and family to dinner as they were all waiting for me at the restaurant. As a business owner, in today's unsafe and volatile environment while closing the door and locking up my business having a customer sneak up behind me actually scared me as I don't know who might attach me and who might not. The reason for leaving was that I was late, tired, and not feeling safe with an irate customer yelling at me and wanting to call the police for an issue that we easily could have solved ourselves. Epilogue: the part you also left out in this story is that you paid me in cash and asked me give you a "better" price which is illegal for me as an owner to do as the State has me list my prices clearly to all customers regardless of how they pay. You brought that up again when you came back to voice your displeasure and I suspect that this is a big part of why you were not pleased.
