Optum Windows enters your home and sits with you in your kitchen and sells you on their affordability, yet quality comparable to other top-of-the-line window manufacturers along with their "iron-clad" warranty. This is not the case. Of the 13 windows I paid $15,000 + to have installed, 8 of them have smudges within the panes that you cannot clean that are there permanently, two of those windows with gross defects within the panes. I had my windows installed in September 2021. The very next day, I contacted the installer who came back to my home and confirmed what I saw and said someone at the factory was obviously off their game on the day of manufacturing and that new windows would be ordered and installed. It is now June 2022 and I just keep getting the run-around from the company and many different representatives that I am passed to, each shirking responsibility and avoiding my calls. Once, they even said that a picture would have be taken from six feet away in order to replace them. They did not offer a professional photographer to take the pictures and that is NOT written in their warranty. The defects are grossly obvious when cleaning the windows right in front of them, even when standing away from them. They are not honoring their warranty they spoke so highly of and I have now paid $15,000+ on defective windows, nor do they honor the verification of their own representatives providing that the windows are, in fact, defective and need replaced. If you want cheaper, though high quality, yet defective windows with a company that is not honorable, choose Optum. They'd be wonderful for you.
