    Oh, yeah, we can fix your tractor. So I left it and they began to fix it. ***** was coming out of the radiator. The first word on their repair order was diagnose.First they pulled the radiator and sent it to a shop for inspection. Not the problem. $200? Replaced the radiator cap. Not the problem. $20? Then they pulled the valve cover to check the gasket. Not the problem. Cost a lot. A few other things checked, and the **** was $2400, and the tractor was still not fixed. Finally, someone must have read the work order, ********, and sat in the seat, and pondered it for two minutes until they had an ah ha experience. Lets check the thermostat to see if its stuck. Sure enough, that was the problem. To replace a stuck thermostat cost a few dollars, but the labor to pull everything and fix it was about $700. They took me for $2400 for a $700 job. When I mentioned this to a friend she said that should have been the first thing they checked. ********? Right. What a corrupt procedure. Cannot recommend this company. Right after I got the tractor back the water pump fell off and blew a hole in the radiator. **** for that repair with another company was $1500. Id bet money that the bolts on the water pump were not secured properly from the Burns mechanic. This company cost me $3900 for a simple, straightforward repair. ********? Right.

    After a thorough review of our records, we were able to locate the invoicing for the repairs completed on your tractor. To clarify, this work was completed over 2 years ago (2019). In January 2019 work was performed to remove, clean, and flush the radiator, replace a hose and belt that were cracked and brittle, as well as replacing the radiator cap and thermostat. In March 2019 work was performed to replace the head gasket. While performing this task the customer was notified that the cylinders were scored, and the head had deep indentions. The customer declined doing the recommended repairs (other than the head gaskets) that were made by the mechanic. Based on our records, we were never notified of the incident regarding the water pump falling off and blowing a hole in the radiator. Had we been notified immediately of this issue; we could have had an opportunity to investigate and remedy the situation. We are sorry that you are dissatisfied with the work performed and wish that you had contacted us in 2019 and given us an opportunity to remedy the situation.

    The reason water was pouring out of the radiator was because the thermostat was stuck. A $700 repair, which, if you look at all your invoices, you will see. It was the last repair you made at that time (two years ago). After you took me for a $2200 ride because you assigned my repair to an incompetent mechanic, would you really expect me to come back for any more repairs, even if you would have charged me nothing? I don't think so. I asked Paco to tell David (********) how extremely disappointed and dissatisfied I was. I expected David would have called to discuss the repair. My conclusion: Paco never told him.
