    I have had numerous problems with Heritage, all centering around poor communication. The latest problem is they have charged me for three late payments totaling $27.00 and threatened to put a lien on my property(via writing) if I don’t pay. I have no idea what the late charges are for and they will not respond to my texts, calls and the email they have me is not valid. While the $27.00 is not much, the idea that they charge me without notifying me is maddening. I have another property management company that never charges me without first notifying me. Previously, with no notification they charged me a special assessment fee of$1,500 and threatened me with a lien if I did not pay. They also charged me with late fees while never notifying before charging me. My understanding is that it is unlawful to charge a special assessment without my consent and a signature. Heritage is the HOA and manager of the condo I own and they did not seek my consent and I want them provide an explanation for this. There are other problems. After I signed up with them they did not list my apartment for nearly two weeks which could have cost me up to $700 in rent. After I purchased the condo I decided to remove the furniture that came with it. One of the owners showed up unannounced and acted in a way that was very bizarre, saying over and over “if you’re going to take some things, take everything.” When I asked him what his problem was he told me to remove the Murphy bed. I reminded him I owned the property, he worked for me and that the Murphy bed would stay. A couple days later the condo rented with the Murphy bed. I only mention this incident to underscore the poor communication practices of Heritage. What I want is this. Due to poor customer service, terrible communication and unreasonable threats and intimidation, I want late charges dropped, the start up fees returned, return the $1,500 or proof of attempt to notify me as the HOA and management company and terminate contract.

    There are some nightmare property management companies out there. This company took over our mess and had it up & turning around in less than 2 months!! They are quick to respond and no nonsense approach that is effective. We LOVE this professional business.
