            I gave Joey B********* $7,000 deposit (half down) to pave my driveway on June 30th, 2021. He stood me up on three separate occasions, and as of June 15th, 2021, will not return my phone calls, text messages or emails. I gave him every opportunity to make this right, and gave him an ultimatum to communicate with my by Monday, 7/19/21-which he failed to do. At this point, I do not want him on my property but do want my money back. I also want to make sure he doesn't scam, or flat out steal from any other individuals. There were several red flags and my gut told me not to do business with the guy in real-time. However, he was highly recommended by my neighbor who had been using him for about 10 years. I used this recommendation as the most salient data when deciding to hand over the money to him-big mistake obviously.
