Excellent guide service, superior to many others! I am an experienced hunter and have hunted many regions for various large game. I have hunted elk specifically in 6 different states; *****, *******, Washington, *******, ********, and **********. I have been very successful as a DIY hunter. Additionally, I have hunted with several outfitters over the last few years as I get a little older and I welcome the assistance. The types of hunts offered by different outfitters may vary such as pack in, drop camps, drive into camp, etc. However, a few things that should always be comparable between outfitters is; their customer ********************** to the hunters, the skill and knowledge level of the guides provided, camp amenities being as they described, etc. Without a doubt H&A Outfitters is equal to the best outfitters available anywhere. They know the areas and patterns of the animals. They will definitely provide you good shooting opportunities. They provide great personal service to their hunters, very experienced and skilled guides, and top notch camp amenities - all of which measure up to their claims. They strive to meet and exceed expectations. I have seen a few unfavorable reviews for H&A Outfitters online and simply cannot believe they carry any degree of truth to them. It seems that negative reviews are all too often left by individuals who are obvious members of the entitlement camp and likely feel that their money or influence should've bought them an elk or whatever they consider to be a successful ****. That group of ****** has forgotten that this is hunting and they have a key role to play in their own success. That being said, H&A Outfitters will work as hard as anyone to ensure success. Out of my particular camp of eight hunters, within the first few days more than 50% were successful in harvesting an elk. During that same few days, there were also a couple missed opportunities by others. I was successful on day 2 thanks to my excellent guide ****
