I put a deposit of $600 down for unit *, to be available in May 2022They withdrew the unit after accepting deposit. I did not receive a official form that assigned the 600 to unit *.They said I could have my deposit back in a phone conversation but pressured me over the phone to let them keep my deposit while they check on another possible unit. They sent photos of unit ** but stated that it was not yet officially available. For 2 weeks I did not know if other unit was available. When they did inform me that unit ** was going to be available - in June with an undetermined date. Initially I verbally stated that I might be interested in thr unit if they could give me a move in date. This was not provided. I requested the deposit back with my sons help today. They are declining and stating that I agreed to transfer the deposit to unit **. This is false, there are no documents showing the termination of unit * and the transfer to unit **. Today was the first I've seen a document showing I was assigned unit *. They tried to imply that I agreed to unit ** with no move in date. I now am asking the BBB to investigate and help me get my $600 back as they reneged on Unit * post accepting my payment then did not have an available unit to offer until 2 weeks after unit * was renenged. There are no documents showing that the deposit was reassigned to another unit and they are the ones that renenged on agreed unit. The documents added I just received today. My copy does not have any unit information or price. My son has handled most of my calls as I am deaf. Thank you. ******* ****
