    After speaking directly to an associate at the hotel, I made reservations for Friday, May 13 through Sunday, May 15. The purpose of the visit was to attend my daughter's graduation from UNM, with a degree in Nuclear Engineering. The associate sold me on the hotel in that we could access the rooftop lounge after the ceremony concluded. Based on the above, myself and other family booked rooms at the hotel. Friday afternoon and evening, we were unable to park on hotel grounds due to a large wedding reception, and forced to park near a homeless city park with active narcotics usage. On Saturday after graduation, we returned to the hotel to again find another large wedding, with the same parking issues. We were then notified that the rooftop lounge had been rented out to a private party, and would be closed to hotel guests. I brought this to the attention of the clerk at the desk, who said there was nothing he could do and to contact the manager on Monday. At no point was I notified or informed prior to our arrival that parking would be unavailable and, most importantly, the rooftop lounge would be closed to guests. That was the sole reason we booked the rooms at the hotel. I relied on the representation of the hotel that the rooftop lounge would be available for post graduation celebration. The hotel made a false representation in that they promised a service that was not provided, which I detrimentally relied upon. Due to unavailable parking on two nights and the false representation of hotel facilities being available, I hereby request a billing adjustment of 50% off one nights stay. That is reasonable and equitable considering the above.

    I had a very disappointing experience with this hotel. I checked in around 8pm, and was given a room I did not book. I had booked a king *** (larger room) and was given a twin ***. I was also informed by someone at the front desk, that I was downgraded by the manager of the hotel, *************************** because I had booked through a third party travel platform (I used my Chase miles for this hotel). Since the incident, I have sent several emails directly to the manager, and voicemails. He has not returned my calls/emails, which is appalling for anyone in a service position. A simple acknowledgement and some accommodation for paying a higher price and not receiving what I expected would have sufficed.

    Unfortunately, we were sold out due to Balloon Fiesta week and the room type that **************** booked into with Expedia was not available in the hotel. My two options was to provide **************** a room with two beds or a room with a single bed room and I opted for the latter. I'm sorry that she was unhappy with the accommodation remedy but anything less would have been her not staying at the hotel with a city that was sold out.

    This is untrue. No one warned me about the room change. In fact, I was traveling with a friend and at the last minute she stayed somewhere else. This would have totally put us out. In every case, when I've booked through Expedia, if the room is not available I am notified. There was no notification, no apology, and further, your REFUSAL to address this issue was unprofessional. You should accommodate me for paying more for a room I did not get. This has been reported to my credit card agency, and I will continue to pursue this until some accommodation is made.
