Our daughter pays 1100$ in rent/month & has had NO air conditioning this year. Albuquerque is now in a heat advisory. She has tried to communicate with the management but they continue to give the run around since MAY, stating they are trying to replace 7 broken units. SEVEN. All these tenants have no air & we are in above 100 degree weather. I have contacted the manager, Jillian as well & she says she can’t do anything about it & she’s sorry. She promises that the regional will call with an ETA, & he called our daughter stating there was none & he’s looking around for the best units. We have sent this to the news stations tonight & will be sending word to all district counselors in NM to get this heard. 7 units means numerous tenants without proper air - elderly, children, pets. Our daughter has now stayed at my home on & off over the last month bc of how hot it is & when telling this to the manager & asking why she was paying her rent, the manager threatened eviction by the 4th of rent was late & if we wanted to get any money off for lack of AC, do an abatement! We asked for a solution. The manager is not working in her office without AC, but numerous tenants have no air. This needs to be resolved immediately. Pics attached of the current disgusting state of the filters we found a month ago & have requested to be cleaned for last month & no one would come out until last week, spraying something on them saying that would clean it. It did not.

on February 10 of 2021, I signed my new lease with Villa Serena apartments (under new management). Under section 12. Utilities. Residents agree to pay all charges (including utility deposits) not supplied by Owner, assessed by the utility provider (or Owner, or Owner's designated Billing Party) in connection with Residents' use of utilities during the term of this Agreement, or the period of occupancy by the Residents, whichever is longer. Residents agree to pay the utility bills for which they are responsible and ensure that utilities remain connected for the duration of the Initial Term or any renewal period. On February 21. The Villa Serena Management called me on my cell phone and told me to pay ***** for utilities. For the month of March, I got a letter asking to pay ***** for utilities. I have called the office and have asked them how they come up with the amount for the utilities since there are no meters. They told me that they do a calculation. I paid in full that amount. Today I got in the mail and the utilities **** is for the amount of ***** for utilities as follow:Water: ***** Sewer: ***** Trash: ***** Cam Charges: ***** Service fee: **** There are 2 cameras. one at each entrance. I have never requested that service. There are 7 building, and each has 12 apartments. The management is charging us approximately ******* per month just for the camera service that I am almost sure nobody requested. They are charging a service fee of **** dollars. This place is fitly, and you can find dog p*** everywhere. The laundry room is duty, and the driers are not working. I have never requested the service and I have been charging for it. The management is charging us to the renters, approximately ****** per month for a service that I am almost sure that we never requested.Could you help me? Thank you in advance. My understanding is that utilities apply only to water, garbage and sewer and not cameras and service. they keep charging more and
