    In the beginning of March 2022 my car broke down near the Bridgewater Aamco - **********************************************************. For one month they had my car. Many times I would call and they would say they could not determine the issue. After 3 and a half weeks they claimed it was the dual clutch. I payed $2,600 for labor and a new part.On June 30th 2022 my car broke down again. I wound up back at Aamco in ********* **, assuming the first mechanic from ** did not do the job correctly and I would be covered by a warranty.Once again they had the car for a month. Excuses of them getting the wrong part twice then not knowing the issue is why they claimed it took so long. They charged me for a new Transmission Control Module.In the end, the original TCM that was already in my car was perfectly fine. The issue all along was that the grounding needed cleaning. This was very possibly the issue from the start in March that ** did not recognize.They are now saying I owe them another $300 after paying $600 for a part that wasn't even used.For two months these people have had my car and are obviously incapable of not only defining car issues, but completing the job in a timely manner. I am not sure if anything can be done about the $2,600 that was paid for the likely unnecessary clutch, but it is absurd to expect me to pay hundreds for their mistake.The only plausible thing they could do is refund me my $600 and give me back my car after causing more issues than I could have possibly ever imagined. I find it very hard to believe this franchise is hiring reputable mechanics. Thank you,*****************************

    Took my 2016 Jeep to have the clutch and flywheel replaced. Work was completed but check engine light came on after work was completed and they told me the diagnostic code was indicating an issue with the engine or turbo, which they do not handle. The check engine light had never come on in this car and was not on when I dropped it off to them. I ended up taking the car to two outside shops after picking it up from Aamco (one was the dealership) and I was told the flywheel that was installed by Aamco was either defective or not properly installed. Brought it back to Aamco, told them what the dealership said and they said they'd be taking a look at the flywheel and would replace it if needed.They have had my car for a full week (after already taking two full weeks to replace the clutch originally) and they still have not opened the car up to look at the transmission. I get the same ridiculous answers and excuses when I call for an update. I have no way to insure my car will be fixed and returned in good, safe working order. This problem only arose from the work this company did, $2500 later and they will not resolve the problem they caused.
