I have had a terrible experience with Shoe-Inn. My parents bought me a pair of shoes for $180 for my birthday. I wore them three times before the glue on the right foot started dissolving, and the sole began to come loose. I live in another state, so by the time this happened two months has gone by. When we contacted them about the shoe, they told us they have a one month return policy. This didnt feel like normal circumstances for a return, so we kept pushing for store credit. Getting them to respond was incredibly difficult, but after months of arguing, and eventually sending the shoes back, they agreed to a store credit. I placed an order for two shoes with the store credit. Both were in stock on the website when I ordered and I received free shipping because it was over the threshold amount for free shipping. About a week later, I received an email saying one shoe had shipped, and I had a refund for the other pair that was less than what I had paid initially. I contacted their customer service, and they told me they didnt actually have the second pair in stock, and I had been charged an additional $12 for shipping (but all without my knowledge). I told them that it was not my fault that they didnt have the shoes and that I should be charged for an error on their website. They offered free shipping on the new order, but theyre refusing to refund the shipping from the first one. It has been incredibly difficult dealing with this company. They dont seem to care about customer satisfaction at all. If you end up having any problems with the shoes, youre unlikely to find resolution with their customer service. I would never buy from them again. Ive worked in retail for years, and this is hands down the worst experience with another company that Ive ever had.
