In August 2011 BBB reached out to CarID regarding a pattern of consumer complaints.
CarID outlined initiatives to be deployed over a 30 day period to address and eliminate the causes of consumer complaints. Improvements in employee education, processes and technology will be put in place. Specifically CarID has:
* Hired additional staff tasked with improving their level of service
* Committed to improve back order notification protocol
* Set hold time goal of 2 minutes or less and follow-up phone calls and emails within 4-6 business hours
