The company came to the BBB attention in January, 2014. Consumers forwarded to our attention copies of letters received by mail from the company that appear to be a winning notification.
The Hub Print & Copy Center is located at the same address. It offers virtual offices to businesses that want to maintain professional presence but do not maintain a full time office. Please note that a company calling itself Available Award Center is using the same address. The disclaimer described below is almost identical for both companies.
Please note that there is CONSUMER iNFORMATION section provided by the company on the reverse side of the letter. It states that National Prize Register is a research and reporting service. It clearly states: "you have won NO money or prize. We compile Sweepstakes Opportunities in a newsletter which sets forth all no purchase entry requirements, based on existing federal, state and local regulations." The disclaimer further states that the company is not liable for any entries made or attempted by readers of its Reports. It is not a lottery company and does not offer lottery, contest or sweepstakes entries.According to the disclaimer Respondents will be refunded their purchase price of the Report in full if they are dissatisfied with the Report. Refund claims must be made in writing within 60 days of purchase. To stop receiving any further mail solicitations from the company, consumers are asked to return the entire letter in a plain envelope with the letters "DNM" next to consumer's name /address area. Please note another disclaimer in the same paragraph: "This communication is not a sweepstakes or award notification and does not guarantee that you will win any sweepstakes. "
