Additional Complaint Information
The BBB is trying to develop a file information on the company and has sent a Standard Business Questionnaire by email. No physical address is available. The web address www.savingsspectacular.com was registerd by proxy. The company claims they are a wholly owned subsidiary of American Benefits Association. The BBB was not able to confirm that statement. The complaints received allege that consumers are notified by text message on their phones about the $100 winnings from Walmart or Target. They are asked to send $3.70 to cover postage. Allegedly nothing is received and often unauthorized charges appear on the cc statements. Until the BBB obtains a valid physical address, consumers are advised to contact: Federal Communications Commission 445 12th Street SW, Washington, DC 20554 Phone: 1-888-225-5322 TTY: 1-888-835-5322 Fax: 1-866-418-0232 www.fcc.gov/complaints The BBB posted an alert in March entitled IGNORE THE TEXT! YOU DID NOT WIN A WALMART GIFT CARD describing similar cases. You can view it at: http://newjersey.bbb.org/article/ignore-that-text-you-didnt-win-a-walmart-gift-card-33347
