Additional Complaint Information

The BBB has received  several complaints against the company. According to the complaints on file, Liquidation Exchange sends out Certified Letters with Official Prize Directive and Unclaimed Asset Notice. If one reads the offer carefully, one can see that the guaranteed cash prizes are mentioned in the context of a report.  The wording is skillfully arranged that a recipient believes he or she won a prize in the amount of $527,623.     “This is your FINAL NOTICE  to receive payout claim directive report for over $$$$$ in guaranteed cash/prizes.”  So no prize is awarded but a report is to be sent about any prizes that were ever awarded to unknown people or contest to take place in future. “It is now  being held in your name”   - “ it” refers to the report and not to the prize.

The second paragraph refers to a liquidation asset valued at $550 that will be sent to consumer after a fee is submitted to the company. The liquidation fee is $149.00, shipping and handling is $5.96, USPS Insurance is $8.95. Please notice that the PAYOUT CLAIM DIRECTIVE REPORT is free. It has no value for the particular recipients as it does not pertain to any of their  own winnings.   The BBB has sent the complaints to the company and the company responded that Liquidation Exchange offers to consumers for purchase a limited edition hand numbered and signed Glicee valued at over $550. We also offer a free independent information report with purchase.  We are an independent research and reporting service, providing information on current national sweepstakes and contests that customers can enter, This is not a lottery company and does not offer lottery, contest, or sweepstakes.

The Certified Letter and the wording of FINAL NOTICE constitutes a misrepresentation, according to the Postal Inspector.
Those consumers who the received the certified letter may contact Mail Fraud Department  of Postal Inspector Criminal Investigations Service Center:
