Jessie Schmidt Is Appointed as BBB Sioux Falls Branch Manager

The Better Business Bureau is pleased to introduce Jessie Schmidt, BBB’s new Sioux Falls Branch Manager. “We are excited to have Jessie join the BBB family and run our Sioux Falls Branch,” said Jim Hegarty, BBB president and CEO. “Her extensive experience in management will be an asset for the BBB.”

The Branch Manager’s duties include supervising the staff of the Sioux Falls office, being the BBB’s liaison to Sioux Falls and greater South Dakota businesses and expanding BBB’s programs and services throughout the state. Ms. Schmidt will also be working with the other directors in the BBB’s Omaha and Lincoln NE offices.

Before coming to the BBB, Jessie was the office and facilities manager at the law firm of Lynn, Jackson, Shultz, and Leburn in Sioux Falls. She also worked for the Catholic Foundation for eastern South Dakota for 10 years. Additionally, Ms. Schmidt serves on the City of Sioux Falls Planning Commission and on the Board of Directors of the YWCA

“We are confident that Jessie Schmidt’s vast experience in both the business and non-profit communities will enhance the BBB and its mission of providing trust in the marketplace, not only in Sioux Falls but in the entire state of South Dakota,” said Hegarty.
