Around January of 2024, TD Ameritrade began requesting 'proof of residence' documentation from me. I sent them my residential lease agreement for the property I lease for my home, the same document I had previously sent them, and they accpeted, several years prior. This time, they refused to accept it, and we had many emails back and forth that I suspect were automated on their end. In March, I logged in with the intention of rolloing over or liquidating my accounts from TD Ameritrade to some other investment firm, and found that my account was locked out, I was not able to login. When I did attempt to login, my credentials were accepted, but then I was immediately logged out; this happened many times. I emailed TD Ameritrade asking for assistance with this, and instead of providing assistance, they told me I would have to call them. Due to previous calls with them that were terrible, I was very hesitant to do so, but they refused to assist me via email and insisted I call. To date (March 21st, 2024, 1600 MT, I have made a total of 32 phone calls ovee the last five days, asking for assistance. I have not only not received any assistance at all, but they have been rude, difficult, harassing, and even abusive towards me. They do not listen, they do not accept information, they constantly talk over me, make false allegations, blame me for their system issues/outages, and then hang up on me.
