    I bought the car July 21, 2022, and it was under the certified program. For 3000 miles or three months warranty. Plus I have an additional 30,000 miles or 30 months warranty coverage on the car as well. The first problem I had was with the battery and they placed the wrong battery in the car the car needs a better with six 680cold cranks they placed a battery in the car with 660 cool cranks. The car also needs a wheel hub replaced because you can hear the sound coming from the front of the car, this is a safety issue as well. I've taken the car to Baxter Toyota at the versa twice for the same problem. The service manager is refusing to repair the wheel hub because he says he's not able to hear it. The service advisor and myself were able to hear it. Both times when I took the car it was under the warranty but they're refusing to replace the wheel hub. I would like to have the wheel hub replaced and the correct battery place in the car by ************** . I would also like for Baxter Toyota at Lavassa to cover the bill because these problems started when the car was under the three month 3000 mile warranty

    I went to Toyota Baxter La Vista to have the oil changed at 60,000 miles. They were to also replace the oil filter. Guess what? Their Technician over tightened the oil filter cap which then easily strips the housing since it is made out of plastic- look at the photo provided to see how the two markings on the plastic oil filter housing cap where the pin is supposed to stop between them is actually located past the right of the pin, clearly indicating that the housing cap is over tightened. I was concerned that the plastic cap had been striped due to the over tightening so I took the vehicle back to Toyota to correct because I am leaving for a long distance road trip and do not want any trouble during the trip. When I showed the Service Manager the photo and asked him why the Technician tightened the plastic oil filter cap beyond the indicator markings he said "I don't know". The Service Manager denied that there was any trouble with how the plastic oil filter cap was installed. At this point I was pretty upset so the Assistant Manager (Sean) - I asked him why the pin is past the indicator markings and if he thought Toyota just put those indicator markings on the cap for fun or if he understood they were there to indicate exactly where the pin should rest. He had a pen in his hand and I asked to see his pen so I could point out exactly where the pin on the plastic housing cap had been tightened past the indicator markings where the pin is supposed to rest, and he said "I'm not a dog. I don't have to listen to you". Knowing neither the Service Manager or the Assistant Manager were going to admit the error and correct the problem, I left - went and purchased a new oil housing cap and did the work myself. Had I known I was going to be treated this way when they made this problem I would have never taken my vehicle there for service - now I know why Baxter Toyota La Vista has such horrible reviews for their service!!! I hope to hear from the Toyota Regional Area Manager regarding this review, but if I don't I intend on contacting him or her to also report this Dealership's horrible customer service!

    Our sincerest apologies go out to Mr. **** regarding his experience on this visit. It is always our intent to treat customers in a manner that makes them feel comfortable and they made the right decision selecting us for Service. We realize that while we were unable to correct the issue in a manner that was satisfactory to the customer we want to help. We have offered to set up a meeting with a Toyota representative and to also reimburse the customer for the purchase of his oil filter housing. We look forward to our meeting with Toyota and Mr. **** and to resuming a positive service relationship with him.
