We gave this company a deposit of $8,582.00 (1/3 of price quoted) in March 2021 to build a covered patio. Repeatedly he has told us that our project was next on his list and numerous times promised to deliver materials to begin the project "next week or soon after". There has been no progress and we are on his ******** page that he has started numerous other projects and jobs he posted about. He has stoooed responding to calls and emails after agreeing over six weeks ago to refund our full deposit so that we can hire a contractor who will do the work. He stated he does not have the crew to do our job when we past spoke to him about eight weeks ago. He then stated he would begin "next week" in writing. Obviously that time has long ago passed. It has been 14 months since deposit and we asked for our deposit back, which he agreed to do. However he stopped responding and basically stole our deposit It has been 14 months. We have located another contractor who is willing and has the staff to do the job but l and r stopped responding and will not refund our deposit in spite of telling us they are unable to do the job due to staff issues
